pondering sunlight

I worked for awhile this morning on the storyteller's blanket. 

There are a few hours in the late morn when the light comes in through the window and I have to pause in any work I might be doing, or pick myself up and move to another table.

Today, I just paused.

And looked.

The sunlight dappled itself across the fabric in what I thought to be such a magical way.

The image above especially intrigued me.

I've debated the next steps with this project. I think I've just been given a path.

The afternoon spent editing the next cross stitch design. I've yet to name it, although I've gotten a couple of suggestions. 

Now off to stitch!
