Changing Seasons

Working through Changing Seasons.  I have tried something different in creating this piece. As I wanted a very organic feel to it, I have decided to let it occur, well, organically!  I have
my "skeleton" pattern to guide me, but I am stitching and listening very carefully to what it is saying to me. Branches have been changed, leaves and snow shaken free, and I have charted again.  There are limbs that have been changed three or four times as I've gone along, as if the wind caught them, bending them to its will or breaking them off.

The fabric has photographed very grey, it is actually one of Wichelt Imports hand dyed 28ct. jobelans, Thyme, stitched over two threads. As of right now, I am planning on working in Kreinik #4 braids to give a bit of depth.  I also added a border, but that too might change as I already have a few things in mind that I think would fit just a smidge better with what I am trying to achieve.

Now off to put down the last of the branches and then, I believe I will start with autumn!
